The African Entrepreneurship & Leadership Academy (AELA) is an entrepreneurship school. Founded in 2025, AELA Academy’s primary purpose is addressing Africa's high youth unemployment rate by providing practical entrepreneurship and leadership training. AELA Academy aims to equip out-of-school youth with the skills needed to create their own businesses and to sharpen their skills within their professional jobs; and break free from the cycle of poverty, drug abuse, and idleness.
AELA Academy is uniquely positioned to offer industry-tailored courses increasing skilled personnel to the following industries (but not limited to); Gaming, 3D Design, Events Management, Handicrafts, Agri-preneurship and Domestic Tourism.
AELA Academy’s flagship 3 months long short courses will include the Entrepreneurship Course, a Personal Development Course, and soft skills programs. These offerings are designed to be practical, ensuring that every graduate leaves with a winning business plan, and pitching/project management experience. In addition, alumni will benefit from business finance linkages. AELA Academy will also offer language classes, these are but not limited to Siswati, Portuguese and Swahili.
